"I am a student at the University of North Florida, getting a bachelors in fine art. I am specializing in PDP with a focus in oil painting and printmaking. My work is focused on women and the female form and also the political environment in which surrounds us. While they may seem opposite sides of the spectrum I feel they intertwine with my personal views and focuses. I want to represent the empowerment of femininity and the female form. That those things should not count against us if we so choose to accentuate and flaunt that part of who we are. It stands alongside my views of feminism and equal rights in taking control of things you love about yourself and showcasing them as strengths whole others would consider them weaknesses. I also focus on the political climate that surrounds me and how I view the world because of it."
"There is currently too much mess and ugliness going around and often it is hard to express how what is going on is effecting us. I portray those feelings through art, not just to get hem off my chest but to give the viewer a front row seat into what is going on and give them a chance to see things through me eyes. It is not as a means of propaganda but a means to make an impact on an individual whether they feel the same way or not."
