Darya Herman is a figurative painter and arts educator based in South Florida. She founded NICHE Art Collective LLC to create a collaborative platform where artists and educators can connect, share their work, and build community through meaningful creative experiences.

After several years curating NICHE’s virtual and in‑person exhibitions, Darya has shifted her focus toward teaching and expanding access to arts education. She now dedicates her time to developing and leading art workshops and lessons across nonprofits, community organizations, hospitals, and other spaces that lack consistent access to the arts. Her work centers on bringing high‑quality creative opportunities to young people and adults in environments where arts education is often limited or unavailable.

As a practicing artist, Darya continues to produce commissioned work, but her primary commitment is to arts education and community engagement. Her dual experience as an artist and educator shapes NICHE’s mission: to make the arts accessible, inclusive, and community‑centered, while supporting both emerging artists and underserved learners.
