Plant witch, illustrator, poet, alchemist, and musician, Alyna Rose weaves together her internal and external worlds through the mark-making she creates. A recent graduate of the University of Florida in Fine Arts and Traditions School of Herbal Studies’, she is a multimedia artist working within drawing, bookmaking, collage, and acrylic. She explores the ethereal feeling of nature and its healing connection to oneself through documenting her internal and external worlds. She is also the creatrix of Earthen Creations, a local pop-up art shop filled with linework drawings, upcycled and pressed flowers, thrifted frames, nifty collages, poetry, zines, and block prints. Through all her creations infinitesimal and grand, she aims to intertwine dualities of shadow and light, pain and growth, and to ultimately extend a kind and open heart out to whoever witnesses her.
